Our fintech platform powers marketplaces. Not just by arranging payments - it also allows marketplaces to accept, hold and disburse funds for their users. That makes our solution a bit more sophisticated, yet ready to grow internationally. 

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you are not just closing deals; you are a strategic advisor. You will dive deep into the business models of large platforms and translate their unique requirements into our sophisticated payment solutions. Together with our partners Payone and Worldline, you will attend major industry events and co-develop new opportunities and you are naturally resourceful and driven enough to scout the market and uncover out-of-the-box opportunities independently.

You will also focus on:

  • Pipeline Management: Building and nurturing a high-quality pipeline of leading marketplaces and platforms within the top 50 enterprises of the DACH region.

  • Consultative Selling: Leading high-level consultations to implement complex, scalable payment architectures for new enterprise clients.

  • Problem Solving: Unpacking your prospects' business models; where others see roadblocks, you see a thrilling technical and commercial puzzle to solve.

  • Tailored Solutions: Crafting the best possible setup per platform, ranging across e-commerce, SoftPOS, traditional POS, or unified commerce solutions.

  • Team Collaboration: Being an active player within a tight-knit sales team of 6 to 8 direct colleagues, sharing best practices and leveraging smart AI software to identify top-tier leads.

  • HQ Engagement: Spending 3 to 4 days a week at our Delft HQ to absorb the organization's dynamic energy, align quickly with our solutions and compliance teams, and - of course - celebrate our wins together.

Job requirements

Your track record shows:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the payments, FinTech, or platform/marketplace ecosystem. This is an absolute must-have; you thoroughly understand the dynamics of e-commerce and POS transactions.

  • Proven experience in consultative, enterprise-level selling.

  • An entrepreneurial, resourceful, and self-sufficient mindset focused on opportunities.

  • Full professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken). Professional proficiency in Dutch is a distinct advantage for office collaboration.
