As a Data Engineer, you’ll join our dedicated data team in Delft, working closely with the CTO, a Data Analyst, and DevOps/Developer support. Your primary mission? Delivering a robust and scalable data warehouse to support better, faster decision-making. You’ll design and optimize data pipelines, ensure data quality, support data governance, and automate infrastructure with Terraform. Short-term, your focus will be on getting our data warehouse live. Long-term, you'll enable analytics and data-driven strategies that help us outperform competitors and stay fast on our feet.

Your track record tells us

• You bring at least 3 years of experience in data engineering, preferably within high-traffic or fintech environments.

• You have an HBO+ degree in a relevant technical field.

• Your toolbox includes advanced SQL (including window functions), Python (Airflow, PySpark), and AWS services (EMR, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda).

• You’re familiar with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), infrastructure automation using Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.

• You take ownership of end-to-end data pipelines, value collaboration with data analysts and developers, and troubleshoot like a pro.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player who thrives in cross-functional setups.
